Predictions for Java (27 - December - 96)
I predict that Java will take over the home
appliance market. It will become part of every
major NEW development that takes place at every
level of the software market. It will also begin
to replace Legacy systems when its full spec-
ification of JDBC/RMI/VRML are finalized and
brought into the market place by 3rd party 
vendors.
